Downhill Mountain Biking Made Easy

Pick your lane... look as far down the trail as possible and visualize your line. Stop looking straight down at you front tire! Look as far ahead as possible so you can see obstacles with enough time to react. Roll right though it... sometimes the best way to successfully navigate obstacles is to let go of that break and run right through it. Breaking too hard and slowing down too much will set off your balance and could cause you to crash. Experiment with feathering your back brake and rolling through obsticles. You'll be surprised how much the bike absorbs the rocks and logs... that's what the bikes are made for.
